What kind of franchise is available?
Mexicali provides a business format franchising system. The franchise holder acqquires a complete business operation that includes trade name, license and trademark.
Aside from construction costs, what are the other expenses involved in opening a store?
There is a 5% royalty fee and a 1% marketing fee so we will collect a total of 6% of your gross sales monthly for the first term of contract. Each term is 5 years. On the 6th year onwards, there will be a 1% decrease.
Malls normally require a six (6) month rental deposit (exact amount depends on the mall and the size of space).
Can I still apply for a franchise even if I don't have a site or location?
We can help you look for an ideal site as we get a lot of offers from different establishments.
Can a corporation apply for a franchise?
Yes! But the majority owner should be the representative of the franchise.
What is the floor area requirement?
Between 40 to 70 sqm
Is there a standard store design?
Yes, Mexicali provides the standard store design, layout, equipment and facilities required.
What about the products to be sold and materials to be used?
Mexicali will provide the franchisee all products, formulated ingredients and supplies. The franchisee may also use designated suppliers of Mexicali according to the specifications set by the store operations and in accordance with the provisions of the franchise agreement.
When is expected Return of Investment (ROI)?
Several factors such as sales, market potential, investment cost and the ability of the franchisee to control his operating expenses determine ROI. However if everything runs smoothly, you can expect your ROI under 2 years.
Is there any training program provided?
A theoretical and in-store training program is provided to the franchise owner, management team and crew. This lasts for a maximum of one month. All must successfully complete the program. The training fee is already included in the initial investment.
What kind of continuing service will the company provide?
The franchisee will receive a Mexicali operations manual covering the information needed for our store operations. All these manuals are confidential. They are constantly updated; any revisions will be made available to the franchisee. Maxicali shall also give continuing advisory service on promotional, business or operational concerns. Periodic visits will also be done by our operations manager to assure that the Mexicali system is being implemented.
